I shan't be able to go but I would love to. While we were on a short break in Scarborough last week we went to Helmsley, where one of my grandmothers was born. It is a lovely little town. My father was also born in Yorkshire but I can't remember where just at the moment. Chrissie |

Anybody else coming then? I spoke to SBPF Wendy at the weekend and we're hoping to come up together. I've got no sense of direction but I think I can just about make it to Wendy's house! lol. Then Wendy is going to drive us up to York. Jeanette x |

thanks for letting us know the date. My daughter lives quite near there so maybe I will manage a trip. Went to the Borthwick institute in February which was quite interesting although I never found anything relating to my lot. |
