But I am trying to understand why my bestie ( now deceased ) had so many still births and miscarriges, I think maybe she couldn't carry male child, she eventually had a female child though.

Sorry ZZzzz, opened your thread based on the title but is anyone here medically trained enough to answer? I can only give an opinion which would be a bit pointless.
Happy that your friend eventually had a live birth and hope that little girl did well. <3

ZZzzz I have no medical knowledge of this, but I do believe that some ladies are unable to carry one sex or the other successfully. But it's opinion only.

I have no medical knowledge and I always feel sad for people in that situation. I don't know even if it is still happening? e.g. had medical science found an answer? did she only have one partner through all that? How lovely that she did eventually have a daughter.

One of my daughters has polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).
She had most of the symptoms, apart from being very slim - she is a size 8 -
and those with PCOS are prone to weight gain.

She had at least 3 miscarriages and a stillbirth before a doctor would even consider assessing her condition.

Fortunately, a doctor realised she had PCSOS, gave her treatment, and she went on to have two gorgeous girls.

My mum had a friend, who lost all her female babies, but had 3 boys - but that was over 60 years ago!
