Mum said a couple of houses down from her when she was young, was a family with three brothers. All joined up for the Navy at the same time. Their ship was torpedoed. It was HMS Hood. :-( :-( |

My mum came over in a convoy from Canada during the war there was always the fear of being torpedoed :-( :-( |

All but three of the Ships Company perished, it sunk in about 5 minutes. Mum said that the Mother of the boys was never the same again. :-( |
