Well after giving a dry day here…the rain started at 9.30 am….and it has not stopped…so bad I had to pull over in the car :-0 :-0 :-0

Am going to put me feet up now and read the paper :-D

I feel so much better in myself, but still seem to get tired quickly.
We were burning the midnight oil last night though, meeting up with family.
Lovely to see grandson.

We still haven't started our Christmas cake :-0
Mind you, we have stollen, boxes of mince pies and have had 2 family birthday cakes to manage since Christmas too.
When pies were cooking earlier this week, we also roasted some of the surplus veg.ready for blitzing into soup.
Sometimes it's just good to have something 'normal' and non festive.
Haven't been food shopping lately, although daughter picked up a couple of basics, which we'd run short on.

Bit nippy first thing, but I went for a mooch around this morning. :-)

Shops were empty of people, but I only needed a couple of bits and bobs as we still have a mountain of grub to get through. :-0

Dull here too, after prolonged rainfall.
So pleased that I went out for a walk yesterday, when it was mild and dry.
I was tired afterwards, but pleased I'd been.

Later we met up with family and saw grandson, who had been working away over Christmas <3

Hoping Von continues to feel better and that Fly too has a much better day today. <3 <3
