To be honest you can’t really taste the brandy and of course any alcohol is burnt off ;-) ;-)

I used to be a “reading mum” when my boys were at school. A few of us went and then

we had coffee with the staff. Quite sociable and like you we got involved in other

activities when needed. :-D :-D

I go to hear readers twice a week, just mornings in Year 4, but as I have the correct 'checks', they sometimes ask me to go on walks or trips with other classes.

I tried a new recipe. You fry the apples in butter and Demerara sugar then add a

tablespoon of brandy. When the apples are soft turn off the heat, add the blackberries

and allow to cool before putting in the pastry . Then bake the tart.:-D

It's been bledy mayhem here just had fireworks that sounded as if they could be in my lounge and then there was at least a dozen white rolls royces in the street just stationery with people honking there horns........a muslim wedding :-| :-|

Took them ages to move the rollers nothing else could get up or down the street....I don't mind people celebrating a wedding but they need to be reasonable :-| :-|

I'm gonna see whether I can get Ralphie down the garden <3

Yes, not a bad day thanks.

It was warm, no need for cardi.

I walked to school to say hello to the staff, who were busy sorting out after builders had been in during the holidays.
Nobody can find anything, after they've been put somewhere safe :-0

Never went blackberrying, but might collect some tomorrow now. There's loads about.
