You sound like me Ann, I have trouble sleeping, and then regular as clockwork, I am awake at 5.30. :-S

..... sometimes have to re-watch, as it usually gets me off to sleep again ;-)

I tuned in to Netflix last night as I could not sleep, watched My Sailor My Love a film set in beautiful Achill Island on the west coast of Ireland….the scenery was stunning and the film wasn’t bad either :-D :-D :-D

Found the following, your police officer most probably wanted you to pay a fine to release your "grandson"

People from around the country have been hit by a spate of scammers saying they are police officers.

These scams involve criminals calling unsuspecting victims and telling a series of elaborate lies, such as claiming to be investigating a fraud case or that a relative is in custody, to convince them to part with their money or personal belongings.

Police will never ask you to transfer money to another account, hand over cash or bank cards to a courier, or a pay a fine or fee over the phone. If someone asks you to do this, it's a scam

I do feel a bit better Gwyn, not quite there yet but definitely moving in the right direction :-)

Not sure how the bail system works Gwyn but perhaps they would need your bank account details as surety for bail for "your supposed grandson' or they would ask you to transfer money to a bank account:-0. I'm sure somewhere down the line they would have asked for bank account details or got your bank details:-|

It didn't seem right, but how was the scam going to evolve :-S
Perhaps he was going to reveal that, when he called for the 2nd time.?
