I have always been fascinated with UFO's and other associated subjects from a young age. The Pyramids of Egypt I found very mystical too.

So today just because I had nothing much to do after me chores, I googled Area 51 and clicked on maps. I enlarged until you see the main highway and then when I clicked on my little man to drag to the area, the mouse turned into a spaceship :-D :-D :-D

Anyone else tried this? just thought it was quite amusing. :-D

The various news reports made good reading as well.

How weird! The first time I tried it and clicked and dragged my little man, he just bounced back and the text "No street view available" appeared. So I jiggled the map about a bit and this time when I dragged the little man he turned into a space craft, a sort of flying saucer. It made me smile.

If you go to the first road to the north-east of Area51 - (Route 375) - and zoom in, you'll see that road is called Extraterrestrial Highway.

Yes I saw that sign too. Oh so glad some one else's turned into a spacecraft.

I found it amusing and it made me smile so thought i would would share and hope it made others smile too :-D

Its such a deserted highway, but a convenience store :-D :-D

There is apparently a very small town with locals as cant think they get too many visitors unless a bus load of tourists pop in!
