Good news about the travellers, Belle.


Just back from a whole school trip to the seaside :-D

It was a bit cloudy, but still very warm, but that meant that we didn't have to constantly worry about them topping up their suncreams.
Tide was right out, so vast expanse of sand available.

Ice-cream kiosk owner will have had a bumper afernoon, as class by class they all were bought an icecream

Great to see children just enjoying the old-time pleasure of digging in the sand and making sandcastles.

We all had a great time :-D

Not a glimmer of sun here all day…but 23 degrees and very humid….it has given thunder etc later :-0 :-0

Have been planting out in the garden in some bare patches on the front….I feel like I have climbed Snowdon now :-(

The Travellers have gone :-D. The Police and Council turned up en masse at 4:30 pm yesterday and they were gone within 30 minutes and the site cleansed. You wouldn't believe they had been there :-D
