Is that a first name for someone, I have it as a witness on a marriage certificate so I don't know if I have read it right or if it is male or female. Thanks. |

Nothing on freebmd for the name, is it perhaps abbreviated or just badly written? Can you find them using the surname? |

Could it be Joachim ? |

The first 3 letters are definitely Joi but can't make out what the rest are, also the other witness surname is badly written but that is female as the first name is Margaret. :-D |

Could be Margaret’s mother’s surname as a middle name? |

All I can say is I don't know if it can be viewed on line, the name looks like Joism middle name is James surname is Frame so I don't know if it is male or female, he / she is witness to a marriage in 1919. |

Please tell us the names of the bride and groom - then we'll know exactly which marriage to look for. |

Looks like the witness could be the 1893 John James Frame - birth already posted. |
