	I came upon this opening sentence in an article about the origins of the food dish Coronation chicken: "King Charles III will be coronated, alongside his wife, Queen Camilla in just a few week’s time, and Britons are avidly preparing for a weekend of celebrations." I was unsure whether I should laugh or cry, but understandably I was dumfounded. I believe that there once was a word 'coronated' but it was last used in 1513. Perhaps whoever wrote the article should purchase a more up to date dictionary!

	I say 'coronated'. I must be very very old LOL I'm not avidly preparing anything though - too busy worrying about getting the veg seeds in. I read that coronation quiche is being prepared, possibly avidly. I also say Queen Concubine :-D

	It sounds weird. 'Crowned' would have made the sentence flow better.

	Just posted the above, and the radio 4 extra presenter said 'Next we have 'Hamish and Dougal: You'll Have Had Your Tea, with Barry Cryer and - she pronounced it 'Grayme' - (Graeme) Garden!

	I'm not American. Just saying. Coronated has always been in use as far as I know. Shrugs.

	I imagine being crowned as being hit on the head. Don't think I'll bother tbh

	I've only seen coronated recently, in the MailOnLine!! I've been fuming about it to myself and functionality is just as bad :-P
