I have been thinking what advice etc would. be useful at the moment:

Read the story of the boy who cried Wolf.

Don’t wash your dirty linen in public.

Keep your thoughts to yourself.

One of my school teachers often used to say, "Never put off until tomorrow what you can put off until the day after."


(originally said in slightly different words by Mark Twain, I believe.)

Most of his pupils still remember that, even 60 and more years later!
