OK I was on the PC with a photo in my pictures and I have done it before as recently as about three weeks ago with no problem. so maybe the problem is with my PC. thanks for your help. I will leave it for today now been out all afternoon at a meeting so tired now.

I had problems too trying to do it on the iPad
It worked from the laptop though

I changed my recently but was on the PC with a pic I had downloaded and saved to my pictures.

When I first changed my avatar I was working on my Ipad. I've now just changed it

back on my PC. Could this be the problem?

Ann I’ve just tried to change mine whilst using IPad. Clearly hasn’t worked :-( :-(

I suspect the photo I tried is too large

I’ll have to go back to PC to change it back if it doesn’t work I’ll be incognito ;-)

I have just been trying to change my avatar, not had a problem before, photo chosen from same photo library as before, same camera. Tried 3 different photos, each time got 'file not of correct format'. Anyone else had a problem recently?
