My Doctor has been watching Doc Martin far too much grrrrrrr :-| :-| :-| :-|

Oh yes Shirley, completely forgot you were down there when they were filming. Yes the hill up to the Drs house does look steep and he the doc appears sometimes to run up and down it on occasions lol

I adore Cornwall and if I didnt live here, I would have moved to Cornwall. I love Looe, spent many childhood holidays there.

My only dislike was in fact that all the ice creams were made with cream which I cannot eat and so always ended up having a plain lolly instead!!

They were setting up filming the outside shots in port isaac when we were there in June .

Didn’t see any of the actors as it’s was just film crews setting up

Place was still very busy though

Daughter and the rest of our party walked up to the house that is used for the outside shots of docs surgery . Surprising how steep that hill is .

I stayed in the harbour on the mobility scooter and enjoyed an enormous Cornish ice cream cone . Lovely

Well now didnt think of that. I have itv plus 1. So if i watch Shetland first, will Doc martin then be on ITV plus 1?

I think this wed is actually the last one for shetland...boohoo just love it probably because im a islander myself and can relate to some of the customs etc..

Can you not record one of them Florence or do you have ITV+1 so you can watch one after the other?

Although I like Doc Martin, I prefer Shetland, Florence. Henshall is good in the part but he is nothing like the Perez described in the Cleeves books.

So final series of Doc Martin on Wed at 9pm ITV. So what bright spark decided that as Shetland is on BBC1 at the same time grrrr
