I am chuckling at Gwyn's squirrel cupboard. I have visions of a Victorian larder with pheasants, hares, grouse and squirrels hanging up. :-D :-D

When the children were young, I had what we called a 'squirrel cupboard', where I'd tuck away items I didn't want to use straight away or things put aside ready for birthdays etc.
I managed to keep it secret for quite a few years, but once they were older and did know about it, they knew not to just help themselves to food, biscuits, sweets or whatever was in there, without asking, in case it was a present for someone or was ready for some other special event.

We still refer to that little cupboard as the squirrel cupboard :-D

I know Gwyn….I have stashed me j20 in my secret place and hid the magnums under the frozen chicken :-D :-D ;-)

As for cake…poor Alice must be all baked out this month :-0 :-0

Very muggy here, went down to Makro to stock up on water etc…and they had a good deal on the J20….so I came away a happy bunny :-D :-D :-D

Then I popped to Asda and hurrah the price of petrol has come down :-D :-D all in all a good morning!

Was late getting back from V’s last night….Alice made scones and Oreo cake :-D :-D we picked her friend up and then took them both to swimming club :-0

Got them both wed/thurs as their mother has decided to flee the country and head for a girlie few days in Ibiza :-0 :-0
