If you use a card for payment the bank will sort out the exchange rate. I pay for an upgraded Newspapers.com subscription with my Card. They bill me in US dollars, I provide my card details to them and and the bank convert it to sterling to show on my statement. For safety, I normally use a credit card. |

Yes ZZzzz go into the bank with all the details. A/c no , name and add of bank etc plus any reference to quote. Ask for a standard transfer bank to bank abroad. Prob cost £25 now but the most secure way and quickest. |

ZZzzz if you send a stirling cheque, the recipient will have to get their bank to convert the cheque to U$ and they would have to pay the charges. |

You need to speak with your bank as the recipient may not be able to cash the cheque anyway. |
