As usual with delivered meds, it's not for people in Scotland.

From their website:

"The PillTime service relies on NHS England’s Electronic Prescription Service so currently is only available to people who’s GP surgery is located in England."

Their spelling needs a bit of work too!

Certainly looks interesting. I couldn’t see from the website how long it has been going. Or is it very new?

I don’t need it for myself and am wondering if it would have helped my friend before they were taken off into care ( dementia).

Dragging this back because I've just seen an ad on TV for Pilltime, where the pharmacy sorts your meds into individual pouches. Might be useful for some.

Lloyd's in our area stopped filling the blister packs a couple of months ago. My sister is severely disabled and it takes her carers a very long time now to dispense her tablets from numerous boxes.

I loved the idea that the box could be replaced by a chart telling you when to take your pill.

Tried that with someone and it made no difference.

I think Lloyds and Superdrug will still offer this service.

Also, unlike Boots, they pay their taxes!!!

I think you can still buy the boxes, it's the filling of them in the pharmacy that is to stop.

Shocked to hear Boots are to stop these. We don’t need them, yet, but I know how vital they are to some.
