I consoled meself in Sparkles with a coffee n scone :-D :-D

Went in food…nearly everything I buy had gone up in price :-0 I was going to purchase one of their extra choc Swiss rolls until I felt Pat looking over me shoulder….so I bought a sultana cake instead :-D :-D

My passport runs out next year.
No plans for overseas holidays on the horizon, but being so close to the Channel Tunnel and ports, we have made many day trips in the past, especially to Brugges and other Christmas markets, so I expect I will renew in case the family suddenly decide to travel.

Belle, may I send you some sun ….. and all of the wind? :-D

I did see on the news that people were waiting so long for their passports because our seemingly blameless government blamed civil servants for the delay as many were continuing to work from home.

When I renewed mine a few years ago I walked to our local passport office and almost got in straightaway. Although, if I’d had my thinking cap on, I shouldn’t have been, I was surprised by the security there.

Strange how some passports have taken so long. I know her's involved a change of name, but one wouldn't have thought it would take such a long time.
I signed one for a neighbour's new baby and it was processed in no time

Daughter's passport has arrived - she's booked the flights and all that is left is insurance :-D

Brilliant blue sky and hardly a breath of breeze..... that was about 7.15 a.m, then within an hour the sky was full of grey clouds and all the trees were swaying madly :-0

Still dry at the moment.
Hope it stays that way at least until I've walked to my friend's and back.........
