I'll have to take a look at that site, never have bothered with it before.

But the 1950 US census should tell me something about my great aunt, such as was her husband still alive then!

I'm pretty certain she died in the mid-1950s, but have never been able to fine either her death nor her husband's. They had no children.

She was my mother's godmother, so we heard from her at least once or twice a year, but I was too young to pay much attention to them or for Mum to read the letters to me.

I've just found out that it is available for free from the US

Beware ............. they have used Artificial Intelligence for transcribing, so names are likely to be mis-spelled.
