There are ways tons of roadworks around here Feb/March….they like to offload their money allotment before April replenishment :-D :-D :-D

Gwyn that must have been awful for your daughter. :-(

HS2 are pile driving here from 8pm- 4am. Then they continue during the day. The

noise is a continuous thump thump thump :-0 :-0 :-0 :-|

Lovely mild day here. Did a bit of gardening earlier and no coat needed.

No roadworks near me, but daughter had resurfacing work outside her house last week.
Trouble was, they had previously done the same road just before Christmas and the wrong surface finish was used, so it all had to be removed with pneumatic drills between 8pm and 6 am the next morning, as it is a busy road in the daytime. :-0

She moved out to her brother's house for a couple of nights.

The world and his wife are digging up roads round here. You can't drive for more than a couple of minutes without coming across temporary traffic lights, workmen and cones.
