What a night, wind is still strong here and they have postponed the opening of the Flintshire Bridge till 4pm today, it is just not letting up

No power losses for us...so far, but I did wonder yesterday evening, when the lights kept flickering.... Wound up my torch, in case.

A long powercut just a mile or so from here. No gas available there, so a tough few hours for them

Update on flag, Belle. Not much left now !
No vertical red stripe left at all, that's gone in these last couple of days.
Next to flagpole, the bottom white rectangle has half gone now and the wind is 'gnawing' into corner of the top section
............and it's still blowing furiously :-0

I saw that some in your neck of the woods had lost power on Friday together with some in Essex and Kent :-0. It's when you haven't got power you realise how reliant we all are on electricity :-0

The sun is out here and it's very windy but not so bad as it has been so I have been able to hang my washing out. Just have to keep an eye out in case the rain decides to come.
