A great shock!

I've always read her various posts and found them interesting whether they were humorous or in a more serious frame. She will be sadly missed

Sharron's gritty sense of humour, rooted in a way of life which is fast disappearing, will be sorely missed far beyond these boards. My father died in the same way, I was worried from her first post about her illness.

Matthew and Jane Elwood who had my great great grandfather Francis Edward Elwood baptised in 1807 at Horsham Sussex. There is no sign of Matthew or Jane from this date and my great great grandfather was brought up as Francis Edward Elwood MITCHELL

Am away at the moment so only just seen this very sad news

She was certainly one of a kind with her witty humour and almost self depreciating when praise was made of her care of her dad

One time she and her OH were going to travel to Kent to meet up with myself and hubby for lunch and chat but I had to call it off because hubby had a fall and I wasnt able to leave him alone safely

We never did find the right time again to do it

Her last postings she did seem she was struggling with her breathing etc but again she wasn’t going to let it get to her

So sad now that she has passed away as it seems so unexpected

Rest peaceful now dear lady x

So sorry to hear this very sad news, Sharron was a lovely lady from what I've read on the boards here and from PM's to her. A dry sense of humour which will be greatly missed.
