I once had a problem with a product in Lidl so I took it back, quietly asked for a manager, had him replace it and asked if I could have them find out whatthe problem was. |

Strange, isn't it, how some think the loudest noise is the most effective? |

I used to be a customer service advisor in a previous existance, and got all sorts of abuse from customers. Some started by demanding the number for Head Office, it was a chain, but I had to explain that no one there could help, it had to be done by the store. All HO did was ring us and tell us to deal with it within 24 hours and report back. |

I opened a packet of spoon sized Shredded Wheat a couple of weeks ago and there were about a dozen of them burnt to a crisp, they were very dark brown, I thought they were chocolate ones at first. I took a photo of them and the batch number on the box. I looked for ways to contact them and ended up doing it via Instagram. They got back to me straight away and asked me to post a sample so they could investigate. I wasn’t going to bother but it was just a large stamp to send them. I heard back very quickly and they sent me a cheque for £15 which was good |

I had a sachet of cat food, that luckily, I could tell before I opened it, had been 'polluted' with maggots - the feel of the sachet gave it away, and the way it grew. |
