We’ve just had a brief sprinkling but still nice and warm here.

Does anyone remember scratch-football matches, usually played on Sundays where the men put money into a hat and the winning team got it?

That brings back some happy memories of watching Dad play. <3 :-D

We have no car racers in the family, Pat. :-D

We do have soccer players (one Grandson paid to do so), cricket players, an ex-rugby player until recently (two if we count cousins) two netball players a strong swimmer, two ex-tennis and two ex-squash players (age caught up with me) ….. and a helluva lot of trophies in lofts.

We are and always have been a sporty family ….. and light on our feet too ;-) :-D

It’s a sports lover’s paradise at the moment.

At Grnddtr’s it will be rugby all the way.

At Dtr’s it will be soccer all the way but switching between cricket too.

At Son’s it will be soccer all the way although Son may try to sneak in some cricket.

At ours … it will be switch, switch, switch.

OH and Gndson went to see Durham Cricket lose last night. :-(

It’s a cracking day too - warm; greenhouse door has stood open for about two hours already. <3 :-D

Not to mention it's also RUGBY Saturday! ;-) :-D
