You can request replacement containers if your container is damaged, lost or stolen. Please note if you need to replace your rubbish bin there is a charge of £50 or £70 depending on the size, recycling containers remain free of charge. |

I have just looked at our council page - there is a £35 'administration fee' for replacement of bins. |

i know they need to make money but this puts people in a difficult position, bins are imposed and there is no choice |

Last time I requested a new bin was a couple of years ago for an elderly neighbour, just checked the council website and there still seems to be no charge. |

I have just looked ours up. Recycling and Glass recycling are free, General waste are £35 each. |

We have a green bin for mixed recycling, a blue box for glass, a grey bin for general waste, a brown bin for garden waste and a small black bin for food waste. |

All our bins are owned by the Council. |
