Hello all, hope you are enjoying the nicer weather . We have been busy in the garden . Our neighbours don't like plants and have been removing all the shrubs etc that the previous owners put in. This included an Ivy which had grown along the fence as the root was in their garden when they dug it out the top died. It looked awful so we had to remove it from our side as well. As they pulled it from their side of the fence the panels broke so meant 2 new fence panels. 20 years of Ivy growth will do that though. The only thing in their garden now are 2 stumps that are hard to remove and the grass. Each to their own though. We have been tidying our climbers to try to prevent the hanging over the fence as if they do the neighbour is out there cutting away . This is because they don't like spiders and flies which apparently flourish in plants :-S :-D |

They are indeed Ann, the older one who is self isolating sobbed her heart out when she realised. Little Esme knew she was going to a holiday house with us. My daughter has taken her away for the weekend, staying in a Travelogdge ( not quite the same). She has booked various children’s activities in the area to keep them busy. That is all very well, but this morning on FaceTime, when she was reminding Esme of the plans, she then said they would be going home. That did not please Esme, she was yelling”No- go holiday house”. She isn’t able to understand why they can’t go because of the “poorlyness “ |

Oh Linda, what a shame, I know that you were looking forward to being away together with them. I am sure that the girls are disappointed as well. |

Joan every time my OH fell I could not get him up and like yours he had no strength, so strange when only a month before he had been working in the garden. He never fell outside, only indoors, as far as I know he never regained any strength until he died in hospital 3 months later. |

Oh dear Joan, I have only just seen this but am pleased that your hubby is ok now. Realising how T suddenly with no warning started falling I am aware it can happen to anyone as we get older because he was always so strong and steady on his feet. It didn’t take much to go all down hill from there. I do now try and keep my phone with me in the garden and available when in the shower. Haven’t ventured into the loft yet though. |

It's good to know that Joan's OH seems to be recovering well from his fall. |
