Gas CHS will be banned in new builds from 2025 while they will be phased out over 10 years. That has of course posed a big problem of replacement. Heat pumps cost a fortune up front and cannot deal with really cold weather without levels of insulation mostly unknown in the UK. |

Heat Wayv microwave boilers, with zero greenhouse gas emissions in use, will positively contribute to decarbonisation by removing up to 14% of the UK’s annual CO2, by replacing environmentally impactful gas boilers, and without the need to acquire all-round expensive heat pumps. |

The technology is available for generating zero balance CO2 electricity for domestic use, most manufacturing, farming, land transport though the changes are likely to be disruptive - the current supermarket model is unsustainable for instance. Long distance trucking is not well suited to battery power packs and runs far better using hydrogen. H2 is not widely available at the moment but designs and successful tests have been made using windmill power off peak. Captain Slow has given up on his H2 car. |
