"You stay there and get on with the tea, I will go out and do a bitof weeding and tidying up out there."

He said it, I heard him and I stayed in and did the tea while he went out to dosome weeding and tidied up.

Only today have I been out to see how he weeded and tidied up.

It is not until they are gone that you realize just how untidy your chives, alpine strawberries and blueberries were is it. The place where the raspberries used o be ha been extremely tidy for some time now.The Japanese wineberries must have been a veritable eyesore as well, along with the loganberry .

Dr Digweed strikes again.

The tea was alright though!

Wasn't he satisfied with your weeding the other day?

Sharron

That was when he suggested I do the tea while he did the manly thing.

Sounds like a male thing - my husband's gardening ranges from deforestation to a scorched earth policy with very little in between!

That's why mine's not allowed in the garden except under supervision, if I say 'please trim that shrub', it ends up bald....
