We've got our appointment for the vaccination for next Friday, we were hoping it would be at our local health centre which is just down the road from us, but no we've to go 7 miles away, it's a bit of a problem for my oh as he suffers from a fear of needles - it's a phobia he's had since childhood (he also has serious anaemia), he's not happy about going for this jag anyway, so not sure we'll be going. I don't drive so reliant on him. Good luck to all who are having/have had the jag :-(

ShelleyRose.

I never saw the needle it was that quick.

Keep Hubby talking and he won't know it's been done.

Didn't have to wait the 15 minutes after I had it done.

Good Luck with your vaccines.

My dad (67 next week) got his letter and is going for his vaccination on the 16th. My father in law is 70 and has diabetes and yet hasn’t had his letter yet. They only live four miles apart so I can only assume it’s different surgeries moving at different speeds.

I had mine this morning my friend took me as I do not drive and all the doctors in the area have got together and are sending us all to the same hub went very smoothly and did not have sit for five minutes after I was home within the hour, I did not even feel the needle going in my cousin who is 57 had his today but he has diabetes and is getting over cancer so pleased that he has had his, the reason some people are getting text messages and some are getting letters is if you have a mobile it must be registered with your doctor, so saying that I got both hope those who are still waiting I hope you don't have to wait to long, and Shelly rose please tell your husband there's nothing to worry about

Mine was done at a local health centre .my docs are in a hub too

Was very quick and I didn’t feel the needle go in . Was over and done with in a few moments

Maybe because it goes into a muscle it’s painless
