I think of all the other people living in that part of the Telus Gardens, and who were exposed to covid by the use of hall ways, joint elevators etc.

It's 53 storeys high, and there are a total of 428 suites.

There will be more than 1 elevator, possibly 10 or more, but still ....................

:-D :-D :-D

I'll take your word for that, Kay :-D

And if I made a pun there, I'm sure that it was intended ;-) :-D

Alan, I didn't work in the Army Reserves, nor have I ever worked on any docks, but I'd bet I could match you word for word when describing the ***** and ******** who flout covid rules. If it just affected themselves I'd say "get on with it" but their stupid mindlessness and selfishness affects everyone. I hope he gets a long stretch as punishment.

AnninGlos, no I meant that there are many words to describe but I'm not game to use them on this, or any other site ;-) :-D :-D

I spent fourteen years in the UK Army Reserves and spent many years working at the Port of Grimsby, both on the Commercial Docks and the Fishing Docks.

I can assure you that my vocabulary is extensive :-D :-D

JoyL

He was released on bail later on Sunday ............ his lawyer was his brother :-0

Bail will have had to be paid, but I haven't seen how much.

The brother said the "accused" wants everyone to understand that he believes the charges will go away, and that he ahs the right of every person in Canada to be presumed innocent until proven guilty :-P

Yeah, right!

Some people are a danger to society!

Maybe AnninGlos can let us into the secret of why it is so much easier to shop there than in London. Or maybe she will keep it secret.

A group has just been fined by Glos. police for driving 160 mile to the Cotswolds because it was so difficult to shop in London.

It was reported the other week that a group that had to use the rescue services (not car) were going to be charged for the rescue on top of their covid fines. Seems not to have deterred this weekends idiots.

Good to see that he's been hauled off to jail, Sylvia.

As jails must be good breeding grounds for covid, he may just find out the hard way what it's all about.

As Alan said, 'there are no words to adequately describe him'. well that is what he meant.

Man living in penthouse suite in a very expensive area of Vancouver has been caught having too many people in his apartment on several evenings over the last several weeks.

A week ago, the police were called again, he had a security guard outside the apartment door, who tried to stop the police entering. He got in trouble, the apartment was packed with over 100 people, all got $230 fines for not wearing masks, and the owner got a $2,300 fine for hosting a gathering

The police said it seemed that he was running an "underground" illegal nightclub.

They were called again last night. No security guard this time, but the owner refused to open the door.

The police went away, obtained a warrant to enter the place. 78 people inside, a night club set-up with some sort of show. All 78 fined $230 for attending a non-compliant event. The owner has been hauled off to jail for "obstructing of justice", and hosting.

He was released later on Sunday, has to appear in court on Feb 22.

According to media reports, he was a former wealth advisor who lost his license after forging a client's signature.

He bought the 3-level penthouse suite last November for nearly $3 million, paid in cash. There have been "Granny's" nightclub parties advertised on social media and via encrypted texts at least since New Year's Eve.

He claims that he knows nothing about any night club, and is innocent.

He has filed charges against the police for damaging his door on Jan 23.

No word on whether he can be ordered to leave the building as he owns the suite,
