A Scrum V Six Nations panel discussed certain "issues" during Wales' defeat by France in that Huge game last Saturday night, with now retired World Class International Referee NIGEL OWENS, who possibly believes they were!

Nigel said that it was a great game by everyone involved including the Officials who had to make " huge decisions" which they "mostly got right"

SOME THINGS THEY GOT WRONG .....

*DAN BIGGAR's HIGH TACKLE
Nigel could see how it could be judged a "High Tackle" from the angle the Referee was standing. But on the replay it could be clearly seen that the tackle was quite properly "over the shoulder with no head contact" and that it should have been "PLAY ON" and "Wales should have been rewarded!"

*A PENALTY TRY AWARD OF 7 POINTS SHOULD HAVE BEEN AWARDED TO WALES And A YELLOW CARD for deliberate obstruction by the French.

*FOUL PLAY
Former Wales International turned commentator/presenter SCOTT QUINNELL added .... The Officials took SO LONG, about 5 or 6 minutes, deciding whether or not Louis Rees-Zammit had scored that Try- that they FORGOT there was an act of FOUL PLAY by the French leading up to this!

*LIAM WILLIAMS WAS NOT "OFF HIS FEET"
And therefore should NOT have been sent off in the last few minutes of the game.
"HE DID NOTHING WRONG WHATSOEVER" and "WAS QUITE ENTITLED to tackle in the manner he did" as he was in "OPEN PLAY" at the time of the supposed infringement, said Nigel Owens.

*******INCIDENTALLY.... I JOIN IN WITH THE WRU & THE SCARLETS TO CONDEMN THE ONLINE ABUSE OF LIAM WILLIAMS AND OTHERS BY RUGBY FANS including mostly WALES "FANS" !!!!

THIS DISGRACEFUL BEHAVIOUR CANNOT BE TOLERATED AND MUST BE STOPPED!:-| :-| :-|
