Turns out that one of my relations was baptized in St John the Evangelist Smith Square and they lived in Georges Court. |

If you go to the City of London Collage website and enter George Court you should get some pictures. |

The website www.old-maps.co.uk is really useful too especially for really old London maps - it does other areas as well. You can enlarge and see the street names. |

I’d not come across the Ian visits site, but that is probbly because he seems to concentrate on norf when most of my rallies were sarf of the river. |
