My mum had a stupid case - a couple of young lads ran to the sweets area and took a pkt each and put them in their pockets - parents done for training them to be shoplifters - found not guilty.

Son in his 20s had an upsetting case - man with 2 daughters accusing him of incest - found guilty

Twas me mum smirking....can’t remember when it was...I was probably 17/18 , we were staying in Brixton at my uncles pub....took off to the city for the day :-D :-D

I don’t think I could sit through anything like that, I could never understand my Dad coping with PM’s and harrowing court appearances :-( :-(

PM I could cope with but listening to people go through what happened - that would really upset me.

Yes it did upset him and he couldn't talk about it until it was over. The man who was voted jury leader was very good, he got them to throw out a couple of charges as there was no proof so the father wouldn't be able to appeal the case. They took their time with every charge so there would be no way to escape justice - he got put away for several years.

Very stressful Pat...imagine the strain on people in the jury when things drag on week after week...I would hate to be called up :-0 :-0
