Assuming your wills are made under Scottish law, this is quite a good article explaining it all. I don't think you actually have much choice in the matter if your step-children decide to go to court. Good luck! |

Thank you all. We know we need a lawyer to clarify everything. Mr Owls step dad has written a will that in theory means his two child can get liquid assets only not bricks and mortar as he hasn’t seen his kids in 30 years. Their choice as they were 16/17 at the time. |
