My eldest brother is not only earning a living from making bonsai pots (though this has slowed down considerably during the pandemic), he's also turning an old smithy into a home - all by himself. |

What would you want to touch your toes for anyway? |

I've never been able to touch my toes but it gets worrying when you can't get as far as your knees ! |

I've seen those 'seniors born before 1979' adverts and wonder why the have photos of very ancient looking people on them. What a sad view of life these 'children in charge' have. |

With a grandson in his 20s, I accept that I am no longer young, but in normal times I lead quite a busy life. |

I think it is all down to good genes, good health and a certain amount of good luck. My OH is 82 and I will be 80 on Thursday, we are both still young in our heads and minds and he still plays occasional golf and both garden. However jiggly health problems are creeping in with both of us. I can imagine somebody with real health problems in their 60s/70s will not feel young in their minds. |

Just realised that having made our milk bill payable on line, apart from actually delivering the milk, and the postman...no one needs to knock at our door.....again |

Getting older need not be a frightening experience. Now you have the experience of making mistakes, learning from them, and moving on. |

I love the adverts that say seniors over 50 should...... My father in law will be 70 in November and he still runs his own business. In his own words “I’d be bored at home every day”. My father in law runs a training company doing things like CPC, PLH, first aid and driver hours. |
