Thanks for the advice. My regimental facebook site gave some good tips on what an elderly gentleman can do to get movement in to his wrist. None printable.

Tou must exercise it frequently using an exercise pattern which you should have got from the physio. Ask yr doctor to book some pnysio sessions.

If you don't do that it will become a major disaster not all that much later by which time corrective exercises will be to no avail.

Exercise it under warm nearly hot water.

Will ease the pain and will help with movement.

Physio told me that .

... the plaster is off. I thought it would be a case of back to normal, but after six weeks of non movement, my wrist is so stiff and painful I can hardly move it. The hospital has given me some exercises to do, and it is very slowly easing. My wife is doing her bit, insisting that I help out with the housework!
