In my lockdown mass clear out/clean/decorating phase, I was in the bathroom going through a bowl of various items of make up - when I came across a cockroach! :-0 :-0

A little bit of panic arose - you don't just get one cockroach.
How much would a de-infestation cost? How many would I have to have?

The beast didn't move.

I tilted the bowl to get it near the edge, then flicked it onto the floor, using a handy inter-dental bush.

It still didn't move.

I picked it up using a piece of paper.

Then I realised - it was the plastic cockroach I got in a Christmas cracker in 2018.
For a while, whenever my grandsons came in 2019, I was placing it so they'd find it.
Then I lost it. :-D :-D :-D :-D

......now I have it again *evil laugh* :-D :-D :-D

'Plastic' is henceforth to be regarded as a rude word. :-S

It's alright. It's not single use.

She has planted it loads of times.

It'd had many uses, Sharron, and now will get many more :-D
....daughter's 'nice young man' is in y sights :-D :-D :-D

Island - false eyelashes - I've worn them once, decades ago - and they fell off, so I lost them :-(

We have a plastic spider in our bathroom and often a real one in the bath. Neither raise a stir anymore.
I won't mention the fake dog do's. Oops! I did! Not my purchase I hasten to add :-0
I think it's past it's eeewww by date now.

What ?
You're going to jeopardise your wine supply?

Reminds me of the time father-in-law found a snake in his garden and very carefully moved it into a sack to be moved to a safe place.

The grandchildren had left their toy, when they had visited

That'll be the test for poor F, Gwyn (probably when we know the lockdown will end - you're right - I don't want to jeopordise my wine supply!).

How loud will he shriek! :-D :-D :-D

This is the person who gets my daughter to film us slurring Cornish Folk songs :-|

I bought a plastic dog turd and left it on the floor next door.

The mother made a big show cursing about the dog, little boy comes in and throws up all over it.

That'll learn me! I had to clear it up.

:-D :-D :-D

My youngest and her friend (aged about 10) were in the living room once.
I came in from the kitchen to what looked like a nail varnish bottle on it's side, and a puddle of nail varnish on the arm of my BRAND NEW sofa!! :-| :-|

I went ballistic.
It was joke nail varnish :-(
