We rarely put anything in our kitchen waste bin.
It's mostly used to dispose of bones from a chicken carcass
Daughter told me of a different Kent area, which has had to stop garden bin collection, because of staff shortage.
I do hope ours continues, because pottering in the garden is one thing I was hoping I COULD do in all this madness.

It would have to warm up a bit first though.

.... that councils don’t stop their kitchen waste collections as I think a lot of this panic brought stuff will end up being thrown out.

One local council has already stopped the garden waste collection , which is bit of a worry because my council collects ours via the garden waste bin.
