I'm sorry Barbra, but there's only so much bullsh*t and lies I can take from someone who is totally up himself, and whose sole aim in life is to attempt to put others down to inflate his own sagging ego. |

As I read it Rollo, you are right in that those over 70 (among other categories) with other underlying health problems should not go out for 12 weeks. Those over 70 should take extra care and only go out if unavoidable and should then stay away from other people. I can see that very soon all over 70s will join the first category and we are prepared for that. We just need to be able to go to the hairdressers Friday or we will be like old ?English sheepdogs. We checked with the hairdresser when we popped to the pharmacy earlier and they have a large notic on the door and they will ask anyone with a cold or cough not to enter the shop. We did go to our small Tesco and got everything I had on the list as we were early and they were re-stocking the shelves. I feel sorry for the staff as they can't avoid mixing with people. |

Rollo, it will come. We decided to self-isolate on Saturday, as did several of our friends who fall into the health problematic group or whose partners do |

Politicians should have no fear of catching this disease... they've always been isolated from the general public and living in their own little bubble :-P |

I had to laugh when a politician said that if one member of a family had coronavirus, they were to isolate themselves in one room and use a separate toilet! |

So the whole country is in lockdown but left to individuals to comply being asked not to visit pubs, clubs etc and to keep a distance from other people. Self isolation for those with existing health problems and pregnant women and over 70s self isolating from the weekend for 12 weeks. Anyone showing symptoms cough, fever to self isolate with rest of family for fourteen days and not to go to shops. |

I'm over 70, in fact 72 today (17th) OH is younger. She said that if something similar to forced isolation is brought in here I can go and sleep in the garage :-| |
