	It's not a bad day here, but VERY windy. I had trouble standing up when I moved away from the shelter of the house. All the smaller birds are keeping hidden in the hedge or close to the fence, but the larger species, mainly rooks and gulls, are braving the wind. The rooks are having a hard time of it, being swept along where they don't want to be and struggling to get back where they were, only to be swept along again. I don't know why they don't give up!! The gulls, on the other hand, seem to be having a wonderful time, They are bigger and can make more headway against the wind, climbing high into the sky and then swooping down again in huge spirals. I have been fascinated watching them.

	At the bus stop this afternoon, there was a buzzard, waaay up, casually 'riding the wind'. :-D :-D
