Try your local library. You used to be able to join Lancashire Libraries online and access newspaper archives through them |

If they happen to be in Wales, you can access all Welsh newspapers on line for free at The National Library of Wales. |

Your local library service may have access to Findmypast. Selected newspapers can be searched on that to about 1950 |
