They are 13 and 11 Joy. Trying to cope at such a young age and their mum is trying to be so brave for her husband as well as her boys. |

Daughter does the plans for friends so they pass ;-) - she doesn't work directly for councils she is subcontracted in. |

With the city, yes. I knew they'd pass .4% but perhaps not anything higher so deliberately kept it under 1. |

We came under the City Council before unitary authority came in. Now everyone is subject to the whims of councillors throughout the county. |

When we had a city council the planners were great and straightforward. When we wanted an extension, I drew up the plans and calculated the percentage of solid faces of the house and glass - environmental concerns made it necessary. I stood in front of the guy with a rather fetching smile I my face, explaining I had gone .4% over. |
