NOT AT ALL APPROPRIATE! :-0 :-0 :-0
....................... JACO PEYPER AND THE WALES FANS! :-|

JACO PEYPER, the South African Referee recently made more famous for his RED CARDING of France's SEBASTIEN VAHAAMAHINO during the Wales v France Quarter Finals on Sunday, has been investigated by World Rugby and been found wanting :-0

Now, the Red Carding was entirely appropriate ....
........BUT WHAT HAPPENED LATER WAS CERTAINLY NOT :-|

Peyper, who was celebrating his 50th Refereeing Cap, was photographed with Wales Fans MIMICKING SEBASTIEN VAHAAMAHINA's ELBOW INCIDENT.

The result of World Rugby's Investigation is....
PEYPER HAS BEEN OMITTED FROM REFEREEING IN THE RWC SEMI-FINALS!

Peyper has since apologised

WALES RWC INJURIES NEWS!

WALES FLANKER ~ JOSH NAVIDI ~ IS INJURED OUT!

Josh, who sustained a hamstring injury during the Wales v France game on Sunday, will be unlikely to be able to play again in RWC 2019.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/50123273

OWEN LANE CALLED UP

21 year old Cardiff Blue, Owen Lane, has been called up to fill the void left by Josh Navidi in the Wales 31 man RWC Squad.

This will only be Owen's 2nd Test Appearance. He won his first Wales Cap on August 31st this year in a Wales' RWC Warm Up game v Ireland.

Owen's usual playing positions are either on the WING or at CENTRE. However, Josh Navidi is a FLANKER (Forward) so either Owen Lane is multi-talented or there will be a "switcheroony" of players positions :-D

"THE FOX"
WILL HE OR WON'T HE .... BE PLAYING v SOUTH AFRICA? :-S

Further developments regarding Wales Phenomenal Centre JONATHAN DAVIES!

It had been reported that, following a knee injury that kept him out of the Wales v France game (worrying as he has not long had major surgery on a knee) that....

JONATHAN MAY INDEED BE FIT FOR SELECTION v THE SPRINGBOKS in the RWC QUARTER FINAL on SUNDAY!

FRANCE NEWS ~ SEBASTIEN VAHAAMAHINA RETIRES FROM TEST RUGBY!

We all flinched in horror and some of us ;-) even shouted at the telly after watching France Lock Vahaamahina deliberately elbowing Wales' Try Scorer AARON WAINWRIGHT in throat during the Wales v France Quarter finals on Sunday.

Vahaamahina was shown the RED CARD which meant that France had to play a big proportion of this very important game one man down.

It could even be said, given the ferocity of France's performance, that they most likely would have beaten Wales had they been at full strength.

NEWS REPORTING:

The TV news presented the story as if Vahaamahina, filled with regret over his difficulty in controlling himself, had decided to retire because of this.

If this is true then I must admit to feeling a little sad over that. I dare say a lot of players in the heat of the moment feel a "rush to the head" at times and act in a way they later regret.

However, according to BBC SPORT (online)...
....Vahaamahina admitted he "lost control" in the incident, but said he had always planned to retire from internationals after the tournament.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/50131035

Whatever the reason for his decision - at only 28 years of age Sebastien Vahaamahina is very young to retire. Les Bleus will certainly miss him.

I'd like to wish Sebastien Vahaamahina every happiness for the future and a successful Non-International Career- No (lasting) bad feeling;-) :-D :-D

SAD NEWS FROM THE WALES CAMP :-(

DIANA McBRYDE ~ MOTHER OF WALES FORWARDS COACH ROBIN McBRYDE ~ HAS PASSED AWAY!

JAPAN:
After consulting with his family, it has been decided that Robbie will stay in Japan with the Wales Team.

"MY MOTHER WAS MY BIGGEST FAN" said Robbie "and, as with any parent, she would want the best for me, so I KNOW I AM WHERE SHE WOULD WANT ME TO BE!"

Huge support from both his family and the Wales RWC Squad have allowed Robbie to remain in Japan and try to help Wales win the Rugby World Cup

WARREN GATLAND -
"The Wales squad, management and the whole of the Welsh Rugby Union would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to Robin and his family following the recent passing of his mother Diana.
Robin is a proud family man and we as a squad are here to support him and his family in any way possible during this time."

Jem and the Rugby Gang wish to express their heartfelt sympathy to Robbie <3
RIP DIANA McBRYDE <3
