He doesn't want statins if he can help it. He's bewildered that I'm eating lots of cheese and meat but have low cholesterol but I don't eat trans fats or high sugary things that may also be high in bad fats.

Fingers crossed Pat :-)

No he'd soon lose weight if he did. :-D :-D :-D

Finding out he could have beans on toast as long as he had his special margarine and could eat a potato if it was in it's jacket plus a topping like beans he decided it wasn't too bad.

He is being strict as we don't know if it's his food or him internally that's the problem. If it drops by quite a bit I'd say it's food based, if it hardly moves looks like statins are needed.

Fly

Fly Report 11 Jul 2019 12:38

He's not starving then ;-)

PatinCyprus

PatinCyprus Report 11 Jul 2019 12:32

OK, he enjoys his breakfast and eats fruit for lunch - we don't have too much for lunch in the heat, he's not drinking so much tea and coffee as he has milk in those, he's drinking water like I do.

Evening meals he's found a lot of the food he likes is OK, it's just fine tuning what he has.

Major problem was all the biscuits he had with his hot drinks :-S

Priya is bewildered because she always had a tiny piece of his biscuit at lunchtime. :-S

Not a lot Fly but the Finger shouldn't be allowed to victimise people as that joke was inane and in no way objectionable. Now I wonder if they'll read this

PatinCyprus

PatinCyprus Report 11 Jul 2019 11:48

It's silly when it's a stupid joke with nothing in it - it was like a cracker joke :-S
