The 'news' always seems to think the value of a certain house is noteworthy - 'A returns to his £750,000 mansion in Knobville', 'B and C were attacked in their £1m manor house'. There must be a cut-off limit, 'An explosion ripped through D's £50,000 starter home' obviously doesn't cut it. However the house in question didn't belong to the Oxford graduate, he was just lodging there. |
