Sensei Ray Coates , former Wado Ryu instructor died last summer I.O.M

He was one of the strongest, fittest men I have ever met. I've searched but

cannot find his cause of death. Husband of Sandra.

Can any one be of assistance ? He was my tutor in the 70's

Yes thank you Rambling, I would appreciate that.

He ran two Dojos in Newcastle and one at Cullercoats, which is now owned and run by another. I've looked at the latter and there is no mention of his death.
I don't know if it was a motor cycle accident or a disease or simply age.
I'd say he was in mid seventies.

Says here he died "peacefully in hospital" which doesn't suggest a motorbike accident to me:-
