OH nudged Allan in the ribs...…………..again! Ouch.

.. in the hands of none other than.....

I wonder if on all his travels and with his rolled-up trouser legs Allan has ever had a knotted hanky on his head?

anyway we lost out track there for a bit.....

Allan suddenly came too after his icecream dilemmas....

somehow and we'll never understand how...he now found himself on a tropical island OH laying on the golden sands next to him shaded by her copious bag and a nice cold drink in a coconut sitting right next to him....

Smoke and mirrors ;-)

What the ones that made Allans knee look all knobbly when he rolled up the legs of his trousers as he was wont to do often it seems........
Still doesn't explain the coconuts....did she whisk Allan away for her own pleasure....

It probably has something to do with the mirrors that Allan's OH carries in her capacious handbag.

Hang on....was that a puff of smoke.....did Allan rumbling tummy suddenly explode....will we ever hear from Allan again....what will happen to OH and her copious handbag....but more importantly.....if that were possible.....where's the lovely young lady with the lovely bunch of coconuts in all this smoke???

Back to reality :-D

just make a decision about whether to stay or go...if he stayed then whatever happened next would be very public if he went....where would he go to..... :-D

he realised that it could be rumbling for eternity if he didn't...…………...

...it gave him some awful rumbling noises in his tummy....which got louder and louder as the minutes ticked by...until suddenly.....

Frozen waste....well if this is frozen waste right now I'd hate to see Aussie on a hot day...feels in the late 30's will be possibly early 40's next few days :-D

It seems everyone wanted a soft serve ice cream but Allan and OH were at the front of the line.....after eating his and sitting in the back just to keep an eye on the freezer, Allan remembered why he didn't eat soft serve ice cream usually.....

But who wants a soft-serve ice cream in the frozen wastes of Canada?

What Allan and OH hadn't figured was large hairy creatures tend not to be picked up after all who wants a bear in their car, and one that sounds like it's in pain.

By a sheer miracle, they were picked up and who's truck should they end up in none other than......

Nobody stopped at the sight of the knobbly, hairy, knees, so Allan decided that he'd better try his luck.

Off they walked down the road, completely forgetting that traffic travelled in the opposite direction to what was normal in their homeland.

Not deterred Allan started to sing "Tie me Maple Leaf Down, Sport, tie me Maple Leaf down"

Tearing eyes out at the mere thought.... no offense Allan...so getting back to the adventure....Allan in Tweed mankini OH with copious bag....Allan snacking on magic food of the mushroom variety....stuck in small-town Newcastle Ontario.....they somehow manage to get to the 401 and start hitchhiking ....but who will roll their trouser leg up to flash their knees????

Tweed! So much more appealing than a lace mankini.

The very fabric of society was being rendered in twain, if not indeed in tweed.

(Ah! Sweet memories of my Sherlock Holmes Thread, which I never did finish. I might have to resurrect it now that I have some new 'material')

At least this would explain the weird clothes Al Lan was now wearing thanks to OH who'd suddenly come into possession of various materials and pieces of lace etc (see other thread), which also helps to explain the weight of the copious bag.....
