My OH in the RAF for almost 25 years didn't either he had 2 pair of boots and 2 pair shoes. |

I was issued 1 pair of court shoes and 2 pair of brogue style shoes - I was in the WRAF and I worked in a dental centre. I only did 2 parades in the whole of 5 years and I didn't play war games as I was part of a noncombatant team (medical). No WRAF played war games so didn't require studs etc. |
