Barb, for us up here, London is always down there. :-D

I think it's a throwback from when the Bishops ruled their own kingdom here. :-D

Barb, OH told me it was 17 and sunny on Monday where he was ..... but wet and cooler on Tuesday.

He would have had the same treat as I did except he had two commitments so could not join dtr and the young un. I think he would have loved the Lords tour. It was the highlight of the trip for the young un and me - his first choice of all the sights.

Von, as well as Lords and the Abbey Road crossing (for dtr), we visited Buck House, the Tower, Houses of Parliament, the Eye (I had a coffee while they went on), Tussauds, Hamleys and Oxford Street, the statue where the Great Fire started, and dtr took us to her place of work when she goes to London so the young un could see it. He got used to using his own ticket through the machines on the tube.

I don't think I've missed anything!

Next time she says it will be museums, art galleries, Kew (for me) and Lords again if OH is with us.

She goes like a bat out of hell ... but, girls, I did not let the side down - I kept up. :-D
