Madge you appear from nowhere & start saying were is the fun .with the threads now its same old with nothing to say & boring .political correctness gone mad I loved being on GR but not anymore Allan was one who was funny & witty but I was accused of stalking him ? both he & I were from the same area in our younger days.it was good to catch up about the past .well some of it x so many on here are lovely people & have helped me with family tree & listened to my woes .I will miss this but honestly its just not the same I think FB has a lot to do with the decline on here as its mentioned a few times any way **Thank You GR Friends** Last Post ;-) <3 Barbara |

It depends which threads you go on I suppose. I am on threads where there is great camaradie and lots of humour, plus support when needed. Joy I take exception to the statement thaat all those with a sense of humour have either left or died. I also get fed up with people knocking what we are like NOW as opposed to what we were like BEFORE. Yes we are different, BEFORE there was a lot of nastiness happening, some of it disguised as humour. The nastiness disappeared when many jumped ship. The humour remains when it is needed, as does the support. |
