Some people just can't catch a break can they.

I've tried my best by using my limited intellectual inheritance - but I just cannot break into the purpose of this meandering thread.

And this is causing me personal pain despite not being a Maronite Catholic. :-S

It's to work out exactly which car Rollo should use to go to his session, taking into account the approach and car park are in the vicinity of tank manoeuvres :-)

Actually it is about how most to wind up the SAC team as I am far from pleased to have my Easter holiday wrecked. They refused to change the date.

Currently I intend to take the train the previous evening, stay with my mate ( mush ) and arrive in the Roller. Luckily ogling panzers and such is just his thing.

A couple of hours on SW Trains is ok when it is not snowing and they have wifi. Big plus the guy who set this all up won't get his trip to the sticks. OTOH I shall have to pay for the tickets myself - about £ 70 off peak return. No speed traps.

The usual route London to south Dorset is down the M3 and then the A31 to Ringwood. After that there is the choice of a good-in-parts route via the A338 and A35 or a dangerous cart track which is the A31 between Ringwood and Bere Regis. The A338 route (best) does of course go trhough Bournemouth.

I have not mentioned any MP even anonymously.

If you don't have time to do the job properly, speaking as a former Training liaison officer I would suggest a time management course Rollo. :-)

""""She had been instructed to pay the £ 80 fine (3 points) .""""

thats wrong for a start.

The min speeding fine is a flat --- -£100.& 3 points.

Here's a thought don't speed in the first place, but seeing as everyone does at some point as we all know a road we can question why it is X speed limit then get over it. As for the weekend being ruined, it is only a few hours make the most of it like it sounds you will be doing so visiting your friend, and maybe you'll bump into your distant relative by chance in the area.......

Winding up the staff is not an option - there are 30-odd people there who have paid money and may wish to hear something useful. You normally get a choice of dates.

He probably did but Man Friday booked him on this, maybe assuming he didn't want to miss any work time so do it over a long weekend. It's hard for us to appreciate the busy lives of others.

Oh, Sorry RTR, I thought this mentioned a politician:

"An influential politician lives on the 30mph stretch in question. A nearby important road not only has a 30mph limit but until recently a double chicane with traffic lights and formidable bumps. He died recently. Very soon after all these "traffic calming" measures were removed"

...I always thought politicians were MP's

I'm often accused for driving much too close to the car behind me.

Caroline

Caroline Report 24 Mar 2018 20:35

Maybe the term politician is being used in a very broad scope so local councillors etc are included too??

Well, I thought that I had posted a response to Caroline along the lines of 'I'll pm you, old 'Itchy Finger' may be lurking, and yes i think that the punchline could well be relevant .

I must have pressed the wrong button, in a manner of speaking :-D :-D
